With 10 days to Inauguration Day, the San Gabriel Valley City of La Puente will debate and vote on a citizen’s Sanctuary Resolution ordering all city employees and LA County Sheriffs to not enforce Federal Immigration laws and not use city funds, resources or personnel to investigate, question, detect or apprehend persons for civil violation of immigration laws.

The resolution mandates the city protect and defend the human, civil and immigration rights of all its residents -as well- all the sectors targeted by President Elect Donald Trump including: women, students, families, children, seniors, the Undocumented, DACA holders, Muslims, LGBTQs, the disabled,  working people and the environment.

Why: Community Leaders and residents will present a City Council Sanctuary Resolution on behalf of all La Puente citizens.
